Angels Limoges Boxes
Porcelain angel Limoges boxes gather a heavenly choir in one room. Angels play harps, violins and lyres, cherubs sit on hearts with messages of love, and a Nativity angel watches over the manger. Music is the common thread. A cherub plucks a harp, a brunette angel does the same, and another plays on a blue pillow. Violin angels come in blue gowns and in white, one with a Bible at her side, and a Rochard angel holds a lyre, and Gabriel stands with a brass instrument ready for his big announcement.
Cherub pieces carry words worth saying, Be My Valentine, Happy Anniversary, I Love You and Loving Wishes. A cherub on a heart supports breast cancer awareness, and another holds a baby bottle for a christening. Then there are the animals who earned wings, an angel puppy, a pig with a halo and an angelic black sheep. Each is porcelain, shaped and painted by hand in Limoges, France. These suit a sympathy note well, or a quiet thank you to the one who looked after everyone else.
