Easter Eggs, Bunnies and Baskets Limoges Boxes
Easter eggs, bunnies and baskets Limoges boxes fill the spring shelf with fur and feathers. White rabbits sit in the grass, brown bunnies hold carrots, and a long eared bunny guards his eggs. Rochard paints a bunny family among spring flowers and another bunny painting eggs with a tiny brush. A yellow basket carries a rabbit, a brown basket carries a chick, and a white rabbit sits in a basket under wisteria. Painted Easter eggs open with bows, little eggs inside or a bunny on top.
Chicks hatch, kiss and gather eggs, and one duck nestles inside a shell. Rochard adds a bunny in a carrot car, a bunny peeking from a watering can and a bunny on a carousel ride. Every piece is porcelain from Limoges, France, painted by hand in soft spring colors and finished with a hinge and clasp. Tuck a little box into an Easter basket in place of chocolate, or start a new grandchild on a bunny each spring. The chocolate rabbit, at least, will never melt.
