Brown Bunny Sitting on Grass Hand-Painted Limoges Box

A brown bunny sits quietly on a tuft of grass, as if listening for footsteps in the garden. This woodland moment was formed in porcelain and painted by hand as a Limoges box in Limoges, France.

Cottontail in the Garden

Brown rabbits are the ones most of us actually spot at the edge of the lawn at dusk, which gives this piece a familiar, true-to-life charm. The grassy base sets the scene without any holiday trimmings, so it suits every season.

Hop Into the Woodland

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a rabbit, woodland or spring collection
• Pairs with squirrel, owl and mushroom pieces

Quiet Company on the Shelf

Set it on a nightstand, a reading table or a curio shelf among other woodland creatures. It makes a sweet present for a nature walker, a friend with a backyard full of wild rabbits, or a gardener who forgives them for nibbling the lettuce.

Rabbit collectors like to gather several coat colors together, and this brown bunny pairs beautifully with a white rabbit for a soft, natural contrast.
