Lovebirds and Sweethearts Limoges Boxes
Romantic couple Limoges boxes are about two of everything. Lovebirds share a cage, a pair of swans bend their necks together, and a couple kisses on a park bench. Lovebirds sit on a heart, guard a nest of eggs and perch in pastel blue and in white and blue birdcages. Mini doves pair up, kissing chicks touch beaks, and a black and white pair forms a heart. A boy and girl steal a first kiss, and a jukebox carries a dancing pair.
The couples age along with you. Young sweethearts curl up in bed, a dreamy pair embraces, and an older couple is tucked in side by side after decades together. A romantic picnic, a pendant of sweethearts in Paris and a Penicaud jewelry chest painted with a couple in love fill out the story. Each is porcelain, shaped and painted by hand in Limoges, France, and each one says plainly what a card struggles to. A husband choosing for his wife will find the older couple in bed hard to beat, and newlyweds can start with the lovebirds.
