Sporting Limoges Boxes
Sports Limoges boxes cover the whole field, and this collection of about one hundred seventy porcelain pieces is one of our most played. There is a golf ball box, ski boots with a carry case, inline skates, a baseball, a derby hat for race day and a hunting scene in relief. The whole team was painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Nine Irons and Hunting Horns
The country sports have a strong showing. A hunter stands ready with his dog, an oval box carries a raised hunting scene, and a pair of binoculars waits for the birding walk. Fishermen get two hats with lures in the band, and golfers can choose between a ball and a purse painted with greens. Every lid swings on a hinge and closes with a small metal clasp.

These are a good match for the weekend golfer, the skier, the angler and the man who watches every sport on two screens at once. Place a golf ball box on the office desk, ski boots on the cabin mantel, and the derby hat on the bar cart for race day. Many boxes hold a little surprise inside, often a ball, a tee or a tiny trophy.
