Love Bunny Rabbit Porcelain Limoges Box

A bunny with a love theme brings a soft, sweet note to this porcelain rabbit box. The rabbit is hand-painted in Limoges, France, and forms the box itself, a small messenger of affection for a favorite shelf.

Some Bunny Loves You

Rabbits have long stood for spring, new beginnings and gentle hearts, and this one carries a message of love along with its long ears. Because the painting is done by hand, the expression and coloring of each bunny vary slightly from piece to piece.

Hopping Into a Collection

From Valentine's Day to Easter Morning

Few pieces move between holidays as easily as a love bunny. Tuck it into a Valentine's Day display in February, move it to an Easter basket arrangement in spring, and leave it on a bedroom shelf the rest of the year. It also makes a heartfelt present for a new baby's arrival, a sweetheart's birthday, or the grandmother who has kept a rabbit collection going for decades.

Porcelain has been produced in Limoges since the late 1700s, after kaolin was found near Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in 1768, and the rabbit has been a well-loved subject for the town's painters.
