Easter Bunny on Egg Porcelain Limoges Box

The Easter bunny has found the best seat in the house, perched right on top of a decorated egg. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box pairs the two great symbols of the season, and it was made in Limoges, France.

Hopping Onto the Egg

Rabbits and painted eggs have been part of spring celebrations for centuries, and this piece brings them together in one cheerful design. The bunny and the egg are colored by hand in seasonal tones, so each finished box has its own small personality.

A Basket Worth Waiting For

Tuck it into an Easter basket for a grown daughter, set it at each place on the brunch table, or give it to a friend with a spring birthday. Many collectors bring it out each year as part of a seasonal rotation, setting it on a sideboard with fresh tulips and a bowl of dyed eggs. It also makes a sweet thank-you for the person who hosts the family Easter dinner. When the holiday passes, it can stay on a windowsill through April and May as a quiet sign of spring.
