Easter Egg Limoges Box with Brown Rabbit

A brown rabbit is painted across a colorful egg, and a small modeled rabbit figure joins the scene, so this Easter box offers two bunnies in one. It is hand-painted porcelain, made as a Limoges box in Limoges, France.

Some Bunny Painted Me

The painted rabbit lends a storybook feel, while the sculpted figure adds dimension you can see from every angle. The bright colors on the egg recall a basket of dyed eggs on Easter morning. It is a cheerful, springlike piece with a gentle, country-garden charm.

Hopping Into Spring

• Hand-painted porcelain made in Limoges, France

• Pairs with chick, tulip and painted egg pieces

Bunny Trail Displays

Tuck it into an Easter table setting, among tulips on a sunny windowsill, or on a mantel next to pastel candles. It is a sweet Easter basket addition for an adult rabbit fan, a spring birthday surprise, or a thank-you for an Easter brunch host. Once the holiday passes, it slips back into a rabbit collection where the painted and sculpted bunnies keep each other company.
