Guitar Playing Cat Porcelain Limoges Box
A cat strums a guitar on this porcelain figurine box, clearly the star of a rooftop serenade. It was painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Purring in Tune
Cats have long been linked with night songs on the rooftops, so giving one a guitar feels like a natural joke. This piece mixes two favorite collecting themes, pets and music, into one cheerful figure that brings a smile to anyone who sees it.
Jam Session Pairings

Encore for Music Fans
It suits a guitar teacher, a songwriter, a member of the church choir or a garage band, and anyone whose cat insists on sitting in during practice. It makes a fun recital or graduation present for a music student and a sweet thank-you for a music therapist. Display it on a piano lid, beside a record player or on a shelf with sheet music.
Like most Limoges boxes, it was decorated after the porcelain came out of the kiln, with the colors added by hand.
