Christmas Deer in the Snow Porcelain Limoges Box

A deer stands quietly in the snow on this porcelain piece, a still and peaceful scene from a winter woodland. It is a Limoges box made for the holidays, shaped in Limoges, France, with the snowy setting brushed on by hand.

Silent Night in the Forest

Deer have been part of Christmas imagery for generations, from Santa's reindeer to the stags on Victorian holiday cards. This design takes the quieter route, capturing a lone deer against fresh snow, the sort of moment you might glimpse from a cabin window at dawn.

Under the Mistletoe

Set it on a holiday mantel among pine garland, on a side table beside the tree, or in a curio cabinet with other winter pieces. It makes a thoughtful present for a hunter, a wildlife photographer, a nature lover with a cabin in the woods, or anyone whose favorite season is the first snowfall. Families who bring out the same decorations each December often make this the piece that marks the start of the season.
