Hexagon Christmas Holly Limoges Trinket Box

Holly decorates this six sided trinket box, a classic Christmas motif on a shape you do not see every day, all brushed onto porcelain in Limoges, France.

Six Sides of Christmas

Most Limoges trinket boxes are round, oval or square, so the hexagon gives this one a distinctive outline on the shelf. Holly has been a symbol of winter cheer for centuries, its evergreen leaves and bright berries brightening the darkest days of the year. The motif is painted by hand, so the holly varies slightly from box to box.

Deck the Halls

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Pairs with the oval candles and holly box, wreath and ornament pieces
• Fits a Christmas, holly or winter holiday collection

Holiday Table Sparkle

Set it at the center of a holiday table among candles, tuck it into a mantel display with garland, or keep it on a dressing table through December. It makes an easy hostess thank you for a Christmas party, a secret Santa present at the office, or a small surprise for a neighbor. Trinket box collectors who enjoy unusual shapes will want the hexagon alongside their round and oval holiday pieces, and it looks right from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day.
