Retired Christmas Stocking Boot Porcelain Limoges Box
Shaped like a boot and ready to be hung by the chimney, this Christmas stocking waits for Santa's treats. The retired design was hand-painted on porcelain in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box.
Waiting for Santa
The Christmas stocking is one of the oldest and best-loved holiday traditions, and the boot shape gives it a sturdy, old-fashioned charm. Families hang them on Christmas Eve and wake to find them full. This box captures that sense of hopeful waiting.
A Stocking That Stays

Filling the Holiday Shelf
Set it on the mantel among real stockings, on a holiday side table or in a curio of Christmas pieces. It makes a sweet stocking stuffer of a different kind, a present for a newborn's first Christmas, or a thank-you for the relative who knits stockings for the whole family. Grandparents love to give one to each new addition to the family.
As one of the retired holiday designs, it carries a classic tradition straight into a collector's Christmas display.
