Christmas Tree with Gold Star Figurine Limoges Box
A green Christmas tree, trimmed with painted ornaments and topped with a gold star, stands ready for the holidays. This little evergreen is a hand-painted porcelain figurine box, made in Limoges, France.
Topped With a Star
The star at the top of the tree has crowned Christmas decorating for generations, often placed by the youngest member of the family or the newest guest. Here it shines in gold above the painted branches and their ornaments.
A Tree for Every Room
Not every room gets a full-size tree, and that is where this one comes in. It brings the season to an office desk, a guest room nightstand, a kitchen windowsill or a small apartment where space is short.

Hard Paste for the Holidays
Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat before the decoration is added by hand. It makes a fitting Secret Santa present, a teacher's Christmas thank-you or a first-Christmas remembrance for a new home.
