Rochard Santa Claus and Teddy Bear Limoges Box

Santa Claus arrives with a teddy bear and a gift bag on this Rochard piece, as if he has just stepped down the chimney with the very present someone wished for. It is a hand-painted Rochard Limoges box from Limoges, France.

Teddy in the Toy Sack

A teddy bear is the toy most of us picture when we think of Santa's sack, and this scene leans into that memory. Rochard is known for warm, storytelling subjects, and the bear tucked with Santa gives this one an especially gentle feeling. The painting is done by hand, so each Santa carries slight differences in color and detail.

A Rochard Christmas Morning

• A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Joins sleigh, reindeer, stocking and other Santa pieces
• A natural fit for a Christmas, Santa or teddy bear collection

Under the Tree and Beyond

Set it on the mantel among garland and candles, on a side table near the tree, or in a curio cabinet that changes with the seasons. It makes a lovely present for a family's first Christmas in a new home, a grandparent who still plays Santa, or a teddy bear collector who wants a holiday piece. Many families bring a Rochard Santa out each December as part of the decorating tradition.
