Rochard Santa on a Rooftop Limoges Box with Gift

Up on the housetop, Santa pauses with a present in hand, just one chimney away from the next delivery. This Rochard Limoges box captures that moment in hard-paste porcelain, painted by hand in Limoges, France.

One Chimney to Go

The rooftop scene borrows straight from the old Christmas poem, when the reindeer land and the sack comes down. Here the focus is on Santa himself and the gift he carries, the small detail that tells you which house is next on his list. Rochard is known for turning a single storybook moment into a box you can hold, and this one keeps the cheer of Christmas Eve all season long.

Shingles, Snow and Santa

• A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Belongs beside sleighs, reindeer and other Santa scenes
• Reads well from across a room on a mantel or sideboard

The Night He Comes Calling

Bring it out the weekend after Thanksgiving and set it among pine boughs on the mantel, or near the tree where the real presents wait. It makes a cheerful thank-you for a holiday host, a Secret Santa pick with real staying power, or a first piece for someone starting a Santa grouping. Long after the wrapping paper is gone, Santa stays up on his roof, still holding that gift.
