Snowman in a Green Hat with Lantern Limoges Box

Bundled up in a green hat, this snowman carries a lantern to light the way home through a snowy night. The figure is a porcelain Limoges box, painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Lighting the Winter Path

There is something friendly about a snowman holding a light, as if he has come out to greet guests at the door. The green hat adds a cheerful touch of color to the white of the snow, and every detail was painted by hand by artisans in Limoges.

A Frosty Welcome

Set him on an entry table where guests come in from the cold, on the mantel among evergreen garland, or on a windowsill where real snow piles up outside. He looks just as good beside a row of candles on a holiday buffet. Because snowmen are about the season rather than one holiday, he can stay out from the first snowfall until the thaw.
