Rochard Snowmen Sledding Limoges Box

Snowmen take a ride downhill on their sled in this cheerful winter Limoges box from Rochard. The porcelain was formed and painted by hand in Limoges, France, and it carries a snow day feeling well past the holidays.

Down the Hill We Go

Everyone remembers the thrill of a snow day, when the best hill in town filled with sleds from morning to dusk. This piece captures that rush of winter fun, with snowmen who seem to be having just as much fun as anyone. It is a playful twist on the classic snowman, who usually stays put in the front yard.

Frosty Fun

• A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Snowmen riding a sled

All Winter Long

Because there is no Santa in sight, this piece can stay out from Thanksgiving through February without feeling out of season. Set it on a mantel with pine cones, a hot cocoa bar or a holiday village scene. It suits a ski lodge, a mountain cabin or any home where winter is welcomed. It makes a fun present for a winter birthday, a skier or anyone who still runs for the sled at the first good snowfall.
