Christmas Holly Rochard Limoges Box with Cupcakes and Cookies

Sprigs of Christmas holly join cupcakes and cookies on this festive Rochard box, a celebration of holiday baking and homemade treats. It is porcelain, hand-painted in Limoges, France.

Fresh From the Holiday Oven

December kitchens fill with the smell of butter and sugar as cookie tins and cupcake trays come out for the season. Rochard captures that warm, busy feeling with holly leaves and baked goods in one design. Everything is painted by hand, so each piece has its own small differences.

Cookie Tin Companions

• Pairs with gingerbread house, candy cane and nutcracker pieces
• Fits a holiday baking or dessert collection

Treats for the Baker

This makes a cheerful present for the family member who bakes dozens of cookies every year, a cookie exchange host, or a bakery owner during the busiest season. It also works as a thank-you for a neighbor who drops off a plate of sweets. Display it on a kitchen counter near the mixer, a holiday buffet table, or the mantel beside the greenery.

White Clay From the Limousin

Kaolin, the white clay at the heart of Limoges porcelain, was found near Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in 1768, and porcelain making has thrived in the region ever since.
