Mini Dalmatian Dog and Cat Friends Limoges Box

A spotted Dalmatian and a cat sit side by side on this porcelain box, proof that dogs and cats can get along after all. Hand-painted in Limoges, France, this Limoges box is a small portrait of an unlikely friendship.

Fighting Like Cats and Dogs, Not Here

The old saying claims dogs and cats are natural rivals, but anyone who has raised both knows better. This piece celebrates the households where a Dalmatian and a cat share the same sunny spot on the floor. Each box is painted by hand, so the spots and fur differ slightly from one to the next.

For Two Pet Homes

Give it to a friend with both a dog and a cat, a veterinarian, a pet sitter, or a couple who blended their pets when they moved in together. It also suits a firefighter, since the Dalmatian is the classic firehouse dog. Set it on a mantel beside pet photos, a desk or a shelf in the mudroom.
