Round Embossed Moon and Stars Limoges Box
A moon and scattered stars rise in raised relief on this round porcelain box, bringing the night sky close enough to touch. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, and it makes a quiet, dreamy Limoges box for any bedside.
Written in the Stars
The moon and stars have guided travelers, inspired poets and filled bedtime stories for as long as people have looked up. Here they are embossed, so the design can be felt as well as seen.
A Sky Full of Wishes
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Fits a celestial, night sky or round box collection
- Pairs with sun, angel and star shaped boxes
Beside the Bed
A nightstand, a reading lamp table or a shelf in a calm bedroom is the natural home for it. It makes a thoughtful present for a stargazer, an astronomy fan, or a friend who always wishes on the first star of the evening.
Embossed designs catch light and shadow in an interesting way, so it looks especially good under a small lamp where the raised moon and stars stand out against the round lid.
