Dreamy Couple Embracing in Bed Limoges Box
A couple curled up together in bed, lost in a dreamy embrace, is the tender scene on this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. It was made in Limoges, France, and it captures the quiet side of romance rather than a grand gesture.
Sweet Dreams for Two
Some of the happiest moments in a relationship are the unremarkable ones, like a lazy Sunday morning or a late talk before sleep. This piece honors exactly that kind of closeness. Bed and couple together make the meaning plain, warm and a little playful.
Romance on the Nightstand
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Goes with love, wedding and Valentine's Day pieces
- Pairs with miniature furniture and heart boxes
Honeymoons and Milestones
Many couples keep this one on a nightstand or a bedroom dresser, where it greets them every morning. It is a fond present for a wedding, a honeymoon, a first anniversary or a fiftieth, and it makes a charming surprise on Valentine's Day. Newlyweds sometimes give it to each other as a reminder of their first home together. Because it belongs to the furniture family too, it fits neatly into a miniature room display beside a sofa or vanity box.
