Rochard Kissing Chicks Porcelain Limoges Box

Two little chicks lean in for a sweet smooch in this farmyard scene, and it is hard not to grin at their affection. This is a Rochard piece, a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France.

Peck on the Cheek

Spring chicks are a symbol of new beginnings, and a pair sharing a kiss turns that symbol into something romantic as well. The scene works for Easter baskets and for Valentine's Day, and it brings a lighthearted charm to any farm themed shelf.

The Rochard Touch

Rochard is one of the best known names in modern Limoges boxes, recognized for playful subjects and lively painting. This pair of chicks shows that sense of fun clearly, with a subject that feels both sweet and cheeky.
