Rochard Beehive with Bee Porcelain Limoges Box
A bee keeps company with its beehive on this Rochard Limoges box, a sweet scene from the corner of a summer garden. The piece was painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Busy as a Bee
Bees have been admired for their hard work and teamwork since ancient times, and in France the bee was even chosen by Napoleon as an imperial emblem. This box celebrates the humble hive and the tiny workers that keep gardens and orchards blooming.

Golden Afternoons
Place it on a kitchen shelf near the honey jar, a garden room table, or a sunny windowsill. It makes a charming present for a beekeeper, a gardener who plants for pollinators, a farmers market vendor, or a hardworking colleague who deserves a busy bee thank-you. It also suits a spring or summer birthday.
Rochard's garden pieces are popular for seasonal displays, and a beehive brings warm golden tones to a shelf of flowers and critters.
