Espresso Coffee Machine Porcelain Limoges Box Figurine

Here is an espresso machine that never needs descaling, rendered in porcelain as a small Limoges box and painted by hand in Limoges, France. It captures the café workhorse that gets so many people through the morning.

Pulling the Perfect Shot

From Roman espresso bars to the corner coffee shop, the espresso maker has become a symbol of good mornings and long conversations. Every part of it is brushed on by hand here, which gives the piece its own character and slight variations from box to box.

Brewed for the Right Person

It is a natural choice for a barista heading off to open a café, a friend who has finally bought a real machine for the kitchen, or the coworker who keeps the office coffee going. Roasters and coffee shop owners often keep one near the register.

Fired the Old Way

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat, which gives it the clean, ringing finish that suits a machine built for steam and pressure.
