Pedestal Egg Limoges Box with Colorful Flowers

Raised on a pedestal and covered in colorful flowers, this egg looks like a garden bouquet arranged for a celebration. Artisans in Limoges, France, shaped this porcelain Limoges box and painted every bloom by hand.

Bouquet on a Stand

With so many colors in play, the egg reads like a mixed bouquet from the farmers market, cheerful and full of life. The pedestal adds height and turns it into a small centerpiece. Each flower is painted individually, so the mix of colors and their placement differ from egg to egg.

Garden Party Lineup

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Brings lots of color to an egg or floral collection

Celebrations in Bloom

It is a natural fit for Easter, Mother's Day, a spring wedding shower or a garden club luncheon. At home it shines on a dining table, a sideboard or a lit shelf where all its colors can be seen. Collectors who love variety often give it the center spot, letting single color eggs gather around it.
