Green Armchair with Newspaper Porcelain Limoges Box

A newspaper rests on the seat of this green armchair, as if someone just stepped away from the morning headlines to refill a coffee cup. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box figurine made in Limoges, France, a homey miniature full of everyday charm.

Morning Headlines

Every family has a favorite chair and a person who claims it with the morning paper. This piece captures that familiar ritual in porcelain, complete with the folded newspaper waiting on the cushion. It is a small slice of domestic life that feels warm and lived in.

The Reading Corner

• Porcelain painted by hand in Limoges
• Fits a miniature furniture, reading or den collection
• Pairs naturally with the green love seat for a sitting room scene

Dad's Favorite Seat

Set it on a den bookshelf, a desk or a side table beside a reading lamp. It makes a good Father's Day or retirement present for a devoted news reader, a crossword fan or a journalist. Families who still fight over who gets the comics section first will recognize their own living room.
