Lighter with Dog Porcelain Limoges Box Figurine

A lighter paired with a dog brings together two things many men keep close: a good smoke and a loyal companion. This display piece is porcelain, hand-painted in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box rather than a working lighter.

Man's Best Friend, Lit Up

Lighters once carried all sorts of personal emblems, from regiment badges to hunting dogs. Adding a dog to this one gives it that same personal touch. The details are applied by hand, so each finished piece varies slightly in color and line.

Fireside With Fido

For the Dog Dad

This is a fun Father's Day present for a man whose dog follows him everywhere, a birthday surprise for a hunter with a favorite retriever, or a retirement thank you for someone who keeps a dog bed under his desk. It sits well on a den shelf beside a humidor, on a mantel above the fireplace, or on a desk next to a framed photo of the family pup. Dog people who never smoked still enjoy it for the dog alone.
