Flat Pink Floral Porcelain Limoges Box

Pink flowers spread across this flat, rectangular porcelain box, a soft floral piece with a low, graceful profile. The blossoms were painted by hand in Limoges, France, on a Limoges box.

A Pink Garden, Lying Flat

A flat rectangle gives the painter a wide surface to work with, so the flowers can spread out like a pressed bouquet. Pink lends the piece a gentle, romantic warmth that fits nearly any room. Hand painting means the shading of each bloom differs slightly from box to box.

Dresser Top Florals

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Pairs with other pink and floral pieces in a soft grouping

Pretty in Pink

This is a lovely choice for a bridal shower, a Mother's Day morning, or a spring birthday. It also suits a friend who gardens, a grandmother who loves roses and peonies, or a bridesmaid as a thank-you after the wedding.

Set it on a vanity, a nightstand, or a coffee table where its flat shape lets the flowers be seen from above. Floral collectors often appreciate a low piece like this to balance taller boxes on the same shelf. Because the flowers are hand-painted, every box has its own small variations in color.
