Rochard David Statue Limoges Box Figurine

Michelangelo's David, one of the most famous sculptures in the world, is reimagined here as a Rochard Limoges figurine box standing about seven inches tall. It is a Rochard piece, hand-painted in Limoges, France, for anyone who loves Renaissance art.

A Masterwork in Miniature

The original David towers over visitors in Florence, carved from a single block of marble in the early 1500s. This porcelain tribute brings that iconic pose to a shelf or desk, with a touch of Rochard's playful spirit. It is both a nod to art history and a conversation starter.

The Gallery Shelf

Rochard has a gift for turning world-famous subjects into lively porcelain, and this figurine is one of its more ambitious pieces at roughly seven inches. It stands out among smaller boxes and works well as the centerpiece of an art or travel collection.

• Fits a fine art, sculpture or Italy travel collection
• Pairs with Eiffel Tower, museum and artist palette pieces

For Art Historians and Travelers

Give it to an art history graduate, a museum docent, a sculptor or a traveler just back from Florence. It also suits a gallery opening, a teacher retiring from the art department or anyone who has stood in the Accademia and looked up. Place it on a bookshelf, a desk or a mantel where its height can be appreciated.
