Rochard Pink Highchair Baby Limoges Figurine Box

A baby perches upright in a pink highchair, napkin-ready and waiting for the spoon, in this small porcelain figurine box. It is a hand-painted Limoges piece from Rochard, made in Limoges, France.

First Bites and Big Smiles

Every family has photos of those early mealtimes, and this little scene captures the same moment in porcelain. The pink chair gives the piece a soft nursery color, and because Rochard paints each one by hand, the shading on the chair and the baby varies a touch from box to box.

A Nursery Shelf Favorite

• Pairs with baby carriage, rocking horse and baby shoe boxes

Celebrating the Newest Arrival

Give it at a baby shower, slip it into a basket for a new mother home from the hospital, or mark a first birthday with it. It also makes a sweet way for grandparents to remember the year a little one first sat at the family table. On a dresser, a nursery shelf or a glass cabinet in the hallway, it brings back the sound of a spoon tapping a tray.

Some mementos are photographs; this one can be picked up and held.
