Pink Baby Bottle Porcelain Limoges Box for a Girl

Soft pink porcelain takes the form of a baby's bottle here, a gentle way to welcome a new daughter. This hand-painted Limoges box was made in Limoges, France, with the bottle shape forming the entire piece.

Sweet Dreams in Pink

A baby bottle may be the most familiar object in any nursery, a symbol of those quiet early hours when the whole house is asleep except you. Turned into porcelain, it becomes a small memento of the first weeks with a newborn girl. A blue version of this same bottle is offered for baby boys.

Welcoming Her Home

Give it at a baby shower, a baptism or a first birthday, or slip it to a new grandmother who wants something for her own shelf. Parents often keep it on a nursery dresser beside a framed birth announcement, then move it to a curio cabinet as the years go by. Since each bottle is painted by hand, small variations make every one a little different.
