Rochard Baby in Bathtub Porcelain Limoges Box

Splashes, bubbles and a very happy little bather: bath time is the star of this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. Rochard made it in Limoges, France, to capture one of the sweetest routines of a baby's first year.

Rub a Dub in the Tub

Every new parent remembers those first baths, the careful hands, the warm water and the giggles once the bubbles appear. This box shows a baby enjoying a bubbly soak in the tub, a small scene that brings those early days right back.

Welcome Home, Little One

Give it at a baby shower, a christening or a first visit to meet the newborn. Parents often set it on a nursery dresser or a changing table shelf, and later tuck it away as a memento of the baby years. Grandparents tend to love it too, especially when it joins a shelf of photos from the first months.
