Born at the Millennium
The year 2000 felt like a fresh start for many families, and girls born that year arrived with a built-in story. Because this box carries the date, it serves as a record of that moment, something that can mark birthdays and milestones for the girl it was meant for.

Sweet Sixteen to Wedding Day
A millennium baby is now grown, which opens up new ways to give this piece. It can mark a college graduation, a twenty-first birthday, an engagement or even the arrival of her own first baby. Many mothers choose to keep it on their own dresser as a reminder of the year their daughter arrived.
Collectors of dated porcelain enjoy pieces like this because the year anchors them. Placed beside a framed baby photo or a christening cup, it ties the whole display together around one special girl.
