Rochard African Antelope and Baby Limoges Box

An African antelope is joined by her young in this safari themed Rochard Limoges box, a graceful mother and baby pair in porcelain. It is painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Grace on the Savanna

Antelope are the quiet stars of the African plains, quick and alert as they move through the grasslands. Rochard pairs this one with her baby, giving the piece a gentle family story. The hand-painted finish varies a little from box to box, so no two pairs look exactly the same.

Safari Shelf Neighbors

Memories From the Bush

For travelers home from a safari in Kenya, Tanzania or South Africa, this makes a fitting reminder of early morning game drives. It also suits Mother's Day, a baby shower, or a wildlife photographer's birthday. Set it on a bookshelf next to travel journals, in a curio cabinet with other African animals, or on a desk where a moment of calm is welcome.
