Rochard Blue Stork Limoges Box, It's a Boy

$334.00 $0.00

A blue stork arrives with its precious bundle and a sign that proudly says It's a Boy on this Rochard Limoges box. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, it marks the happy news of a new son in porcelain.

Special Delivery for a Baby Boy

The stork has carried the promise of a new baby in folklore for centuries, and the image still makes everyone smile. Rochard gives it a cheerful, storybook treatment here, with blue tones that make the announcement plain at a glance.

Welcome Home, Little One

  • A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
  • A centerpiece for a baby, birth or nursery collection
  • Pairs with baby bottle, rattle, cradle and teddy bear boxes

From Shower to Nursery Shelf

Bring it to a baby shower, tuck it into a welcome basket for the new parents, or give it at a christening or bris. Later, it can sit on a high nursery shelf, a dresser or a bookcase as a keepsake of the birth. Some families tuck the hospital bracelet or the first lock of hair inside.

Rochard's Playful Hand

Rochard is one of the best-known names in modern Limoges boxes, and its baby pieces are favorites because they tell a happy story at a glance. Grandparents in particular tend to start a little collection with one of these.
