Mother Zebra and Baby in Jungle Limoges Box
A mother zebra stands close beside her baby in a jungle setting on this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. Made in Limoges, France, it captures one of nature's most tender bonds.
Stripes Run in the Family
No two zebras share the same stripe pattern, and a foal learns its mother's markings within days of birth. Both animals and their jungle surroundings are painted by hand here, so the stripes and the scenery vary a little from one box to the next.

- A fit for a safari, wild animal or African wildlife collection

A Mother's Day Herd
This makes a heartfelt present for a new mother, a baby shower hostess or a grandmother welcoming her first grandbaby. It is also a fine memento of an African safari, a thank-you for a zoo keeper, or a donation thank-you for a wildlife conservation group. Mothers and daughters who travel together will find it especially meaningful.
Set it on a nursery shelf, a dresser or a curio full of wild animals, where the black and white stripes stand out among warmer colors. It is a gentle reminder that the strongest bonds start early.
