Four 1998 Wine Bottles in a Basket Limoges Box

Four wine bottles from the 1998 vintage rest side by side in a basket in this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. It was made in Limoges, France, and brings the look of a well stocked cellar onto a collector's shelf.

A Basketful of 1998

Bottles carried in a basket call to mind a picnic in the vineyard, a trip home from the wine shop, or a case set aside to age. Here the 1998 date gives the scene a personal angle, making it a natural marker for anyone whose story includes that year. A wine lover can easily picture the cork coming out on a special evening.

Cheers to the Year

Offer it to a couple who married in 1998, a friend celebrating a birthday from that year, or a wine club member who favors older vintages. Place it on a bar shelf, a sideboard or a kitchen island where the four little bottles can catch the eye at every dinner party.
