Basket of Blue Flowers Porcelain Limoges Box
A basket brimming with blue flowers brings a fresh, cool note to this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. It was made in Limoges, France, and it feels like an armful of blooms gathered on a summer morning.
Gathered in Blue
Blue is one of the least common colors among real garden flowers, which is part of why a basket full of them feels so special. The woven basket and the blossoms are painted by hand, so the blues and the details of each petal vary from box to box.

Bouquets Without Wilting
It is a lovely Mother's Day surprise, a thank-you for a florist or wedding planner, or a get-well wish that lasts longer than cut flowers. A bride whose colors were blue, or a gardener known for her hydrangeas, would treasure it. Set it on a dresser, a bedroom vanity or a sunny windowsill, where its cool blue tones look calm and fresh.
Unlike the real basket on the porch, these flowers will still be blooming in January.
