Baby in a Bassinet Basket Porcelain Limoges Box

A tiny baby rests snugly in a basket bassinet on this tender porcelain box, a little scene of new life and quiet joy. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, as a genuine Limoges box, with the baby made as part of the piece.

Welcome to the World

Few moments are as special as a new arrival, and a baby in a bassinet captures that first peaceful sleep. This box makes a gentle way to mark the occasion.

For New Parents

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a baby, family or new arrival collection
• Pairs with baby carriage, rocking horse and teddy bear boxes

Marking the Milestone

It makes a thoughtful baby shower present, a token for new parents, or a christening or baptism memento. Grandparents and godparents often choose a piece like this to celebrate a first grandchild or godchild.

Set it on a shelf in the nursery, on a mantel beside the birth announcement, or in a curio cabinet where it can be admired for years. Many families bring it out again to celebrate later birthdays and milestones, a small reminder of the very first day.
