Garden Basket with Flowers Porcelain Limoges Box

Vibrant flowers spill over the rim of this garden basket, as if just gathered from the cutting beds on a June morning. The porcelain Limoges box was painted by hand in Limoges, France, in colors as bright as a summer border.

Gathered From the Beds

A basket of fresh-cut flowers is one of the simplest pleasures of a garden, and this piece captures it without a single wilted petal. The floral motifs give it a lively, generous look that suits almost any room.

A Basketful of Color

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a garden, flower or basket collection
• Pairs with watering can, gazebo and flower pot pieces

The Flower Show at Home

Place it on a kitchen table, an entry console or a sunroom shelf. It makes a warm present for a gardener, a florist celebrating a new shop, a Mother's Day surprise, or a hostess thank-you after a summer garden party.

Basket pieces are a favorite with collectors because they work in every season, and this flower-filled version brings springtime to the shelf even in the middle of winter. It also sits nicely among real potted plants on a sunny windowsill.
