Bundle of Stacked Firewood Logs Porcelain Limoges Box

A neat bundle of stacked firewood logs, ready for the hearth, is the subject of this porcelain box. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, and it carries all the warmth of a crackling winter fire.

Split, Stacked and Ready

Anyone who heats with wood knows the satisfaction of a well built woodstack, every log split and laid in place before the first snow. This piece turns that everyday chore into a small celebration of home and comfort. Its plain, sturdy subject gives it a rustic, honest look.

Fireside Pairings

• Fits a cabin, hearth or winter holiday collection

Cabin Season

Set it on a mantel above the real fire, on a hearth ledge, or on a lodge bookshelf beside a candle. It is a thoughtful gift for a new cabin owner, a woodworker, a forester, or the family member who always tends the fire at holiday gatherings. It also suits a housewarming in the fall, when the first cords of wood are going in, and stays on display right through a long winter of cozy nights.
