Spring Bouquet of Light Flowers Limoges Box
A spring bouquet of light colored flowers forms this porcelain Limoges box, as soft and fresh as the first blossoms of April. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, a gentle floral piece made for weddings and the season of renewal.
April Showers, May Flowers
Spring bouquets bring together the pale blooms that open after a long winter, a promise of warmer days ahead. Light colors keep the arrangement airy, the kind of bouquet a bride might carry down a garden aisle.
Petals in Pastel
- A porcelain bouquet brushed by hand in a Limoges workshop
- Fits a wedding, spring or flower bouquet collection
- Pairs nicely with the blue flower bouquet box
From Kaolin to Bouquet
Limoges porcelain is hard paste porcelain, fired at very high heat from fine white kaolin clay, and pieces like this one are painted by hand only after that firing. Give it at a spring wedding, an Easter gathering or a bridal luncheon, or to a gardener who counts the days until the first tulips. It looks lovely on a windowsill, a dresser or a breakfast table.
