Little Girl Carrying Spring Basket Porcelain Limoges Box
A little girl sets out with a basket on her arm, dressed for a bright spring morning. She is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges figurine box, made in Limoges, France, and she brings the feeling of the first warm weeks of the year to wherever she is placed.
Off to Gather Blossoms
The figure captures a simple moment, a small girl heading out with her basket, and the vibrant spring colors are laid on by hand. Because each one is painted individually, no two girls look quite the same, which is part of the appeal for anyone who collects figural Limoges pieces.
Springtime Settings
Place her on a windowsill beside a vase of tulips, on a mantel with Easter eggs, or on a nightstand in a guest room. She also sits comfortably among garden themed pieces such as watering cans, flower pots and birdhouses, and she adds a human touch to a shelf of floral boxes.
For a New Little One
- Hand-painted porcelain made in Limoges, France
- A sweet remembrance for a baby shower or christening
- A warm way to welcome a new granddaughter or niece
Grandparents often choose her to mark a birth, and she can stay on a dresser long after the occasion has passed.
