Easter Bunny Basket Limoges Box with Eggs by Rochard

An Easter basket with a rabbit theme, piled with colorful Easter eggs, brings spring morning to this porcelain box. The basket is a Rochard Limoges box, its eggs and rabbit motif brushed on by hand in Limoges, France.

Hop Into Spring

The Easter basket has been part of spring celebrations for generations, and the rabbit has long been its unofficial mascot. Rochard brings the two together here, filling the basket with eggs as if the morning hunt just ended. The painting is done by hand, so each basket comes out with its own small variations.

Sunday Morning Table

Set it in the middle of the Easter brunch table, on a spring mantel with tulips and pastel candles, or on a windowsill where the April light reaches it. It makes a sweet present for a godchild's family, a grandmother who hosts the egg hunt every year, or a neighbor who decorates the front porch for every season. Tuck it away after the holiday and bring it back out each spring.
