Aries Ram Retired Zodiac Limoges Box

Curled horns and a bold stance mark the ram of Aries, the figure on this retired zodiac box. It is hand-painted on porcelain in Limoges, France, a fiery start to any collection of signs.

First Sign of Spring

Aries opens the zodiac year, covering birthdays from about March 21 to April 19, just as spring arrives. The ram stands for courage, energy and a love of being first. Each box was painted by hand, so the coloring on the ram varies slightly from piece to piece.

Retired Ram

• A retired zodiac design
• Belongs with zodiac, astrology or spring birthday boxes
• A natural first piece for a full set of twelve signs

For the Bold and the Brave

This box suits a late March or April birthday, a natural leader, a competitive athlete or a friend who always volunteers to go first. It also makes a fun present for someone launching a new business or starting a new chapter in spring.

Many zodiac collections begin with Aries, since it opens the astrological year. Set it on a desk, a shelf or a windowsill, and let it lead the circle, with Taurus next in line.
