Pink Ribbon Book Limoges Box with Picture Frame
A closed book marked with a pink ribbon forms this porcelain box, and a small picture frame is worked into the design. It is hand-painted in Limoges, France, a keepsake that joins a favorite story with a cherished memory.
A Chapter Worth Remembering
Books hold the stories we love, and the picture frame on this one makes room for a story of your own. The binding and ribbon are painted by hand, and the pink ribbon gives the piece a gentle, hopeful character that many people recognize as a symbol of support and strength.
Keeping Someone Close
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Fits a book, reading or pink ribbon collection
- Pairs with reading lamp, eyeglasses and bookshelf pieces
A Page for Every Shelf
Set it on a nightstand, a reading table or a bookshelf where the frame can be seen at a glance. It makes a meaningful present for a survivor celebrating a milestone, a friend walking in a charity race, a nurse who cares for patients through hard months, or a book club member who has been there for everyone else. It also suits a librarian's retirement or a writer's first published book.
Hard-paste Limoges porcelain is fired at very high heat, giving a sentimental piece like this a durable white body beneath its painting.
