Rochard Three Ladybugs on a Green Leaf Limoges Box

Three ladybugs have settled on a broad green leaf in this cheerful garden piece. Rochard sculpted the leaf as a porcelain Limoges box and painted the little beetles by hand in Limoges, France.

Three on a Leaf

Ladybugs are a gardener's best friend and a long standing sign of good luck in many cultures, and three at once is a generous helping. Rochard placed them together on the curving leaf so the whole box reads like a moment caught on a summer morning. Every leaf and every bug is brushed by hand, so the details shift slightly from piece to piece.

Good Luck in the Garden

• A Rochard garden design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a ladybug, insect or garden themed grouping
• Pairs well with bee, butterfly and flower pot boxes

Sunny Windowsill Spot

Set it on a windowsill above the kitchen sink, a potting bench shelf, or a desk where a little green helps the day. It makes a happy present for a master gardener, a friend recovering from an illness who could use some luck, or anyone who stops to let a ladybug crawl across their hand. Spring and summer suit it best, though it brightens a gray winter day just as well.
