Kitten in a Pink Cup Hand-Painted Limoges Box

A small kitten sits snug in a pretty pink cup, ears up and eyes bright, ready for some attention. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box with the soft pink cup and its little passenger painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Pretty in Pink Porcelain

The gentle pink makes this a sweet, feminine piece, the kind that brightens a dressing table or a sunny kitchen. The kitten looks quite at home, as if this were its favorite napping spot and it had no plans to move.

Little Kitten, Big Welcome

It makes a lovely present for someone who has just adopted a kitten, a baby shower for a girl, or a friend whose favorite color is pink. Set it on a vanity, a nightstand, or a kitchen windowsill beside a teapot. Cat collectors who already own the yellow cup version will want this one too.

A soft, sweet piece with plenty of personality, and a natural pair for its sunny yellow cousin.
