Three Birdhouses and Cat Limoges Box Figurine by Rochard
Three birdhouses stand in a row, and a cat sits right beside them looking very hopeful. Rochard turned this garden standoff into a porcelain figurine box, hand-painted in Limoges, France.
Bird Watching, Cat Style
Birds may be safe inside their houses, but the cat clearly has not given up. That bit of mischief is what makes the piece so fun, and anyone who has watched a cat stare out a window at a feeder will know the look. The piece belongs to the Rochard cat and garden line.
Backyard Pairings
- A Rochard cat with three birdhouses
- Porcelain shaped and colored by hand in Limoges, France
- Joins cat, songbird and backyard garden collections
From Feeder to Fireplace
Give it to a cat owner who also keeps a bird feeder, a backyard birder, a garden club member or a friend who just put up a new birdhouse. It looks at home on a sunroom shelf, a kitchen windowsill overlooking the yard, or a mantel among potted plants. It also sits nicely next to songbird boxes like the Rochard cardinals for a full backyard scene.
