Cats on a See Saw Rochard Limoges Box

Cats balanced on a see saw, one up and one down, turn a playground into the best game in the house. This Rochard box is hand-painted porcelain, made and finished in Limoges, France.

Up, Down and Purring

Anyone who has lived with more than one cat knows they keep score on everything, from the sunny spot to the top of the stairs. Here the rivalry has become a balancing act. The see saw gives the piece its long, low shape, and the cats perch at either end with all the attitude of two siblings sharing a toy.

Two Cats Are Better Than One

• A Rochard piece, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a cat, playground or playful animal grouping
• Sits nicely next to cats on a bench, a chair or a sewing basket

Balancing the Household

This is a natural for a home with two cats, a pair of sisters or best friends who have always seesawed through life together, or a cat sitter who knows both sides of every argument. Give it at a birthday, a housewarming or the day a second kitten joins the family. It looks good on a long shelf, a piano top or a mantel where its shape can stretch out.
